Since 2004, Wakeboarding magazine has created an annual event designed to pay respects to our industry's standouts that have made an effect in our industry, both on and off the water. The third annual Wakeboarding magazine Wake awards are less than a week away, so here's a list of nominated riders for the "Best Wakeskater" and "Trick of the Year" categories.

So it became a showdown between Aaron Reed's stylie wake to wake prowess, and Brian Grubb's consistency and ability to blast massive, respectable tricks in rapid succession. Grubb won, but how did everyone else do?
