Everything You Want To Know About N.A.R.L.A. Date: 01-04-2007

Outside of perfecting one's dance moves (both on and off the water), one other priority that's held in the highest regard with the DVS wake group is team spirit. And when it comes to a variety of team inspired designs, DVS has done some of the more creative projects that range from a customized double decker bus for their U.K. Boardstock trip (made complete with themed DVS Adage shoes for the team), to the uber limited bro-edition Cassette series shoes, along with a slew of skate inspired shoes that have been adapted for the water.
Up until now, the only team project they were missing was a team video. But that has since changed, and editing for the first DVS wake film titled N.A.R.L.A. (North American River Lovers Association) is in full effect. It will feature the riding of Aaron Reed, Danny Hampson, Thomas Horrell, Reed Hansen, Danny Molina, Jim Leatherman and Myles Vickers. And not to be outdone by their bindingless counterparts, Parks Bonifay and Shawn Watson will make an appearance, showing off their inverted aerial pirouettes and other such maneuvers that make people clap their hands. Due to events over the past year or so, mass amounts of classic footage will be tastefully edited with the team's most current on-the-water exploits, making N.A.R.L.A. one of the most anticipated wake films of the upcoming season.
Since the video won't be complete until some time this spring, your best bros have released a holiday N.A.R.L.A. trailer at DVSwake.com. It's not the film's official teaser, but it does feature a small taste of the DVS wake team and what they've been up to (which was dancing, again, both on and off the water).
In order to commemorate the launch of the new team video, Jim Leatherman sent along some N.A.R.L.A. inspired team edition goodies for us to check out. Vogue declared the "s#!t floats" tee as the "must have fashion accessory of 07." (For real!) And for those of you who aren't too into making statements, there's also a stock N.A.R.L.A. logo tee so one can show their pride without getting all in your face about it. And as always, a set of limited edition shoes for the team and other special so-and-so's were crafted from the Gavin CTs.
This shirt may not be coast guard approved, but if the saying rings true, you need not worry about such details at this point in time...
