Wakeskating has come a long way since the days of simply removing your bindings from your wakeboard. Who would have thought that they would see their favorite pro wakeskater on a television commercial.
Hyperlite has given Wakeskating.com and Wakeboarder.com an exclusive on their newly designed wakeskate for 2004 called "the Gate". Check out the info on it and a 3D picture/video of the shape.
Brian Grubb wins at Irvine, California and also took home the first ever Sea-Doo Wakeskate Series Championship. Brandon Thomas finished second on the day and Aaron Reed topped off the podium in third.
Brett Leadley put together some footage he shot while watching a slider contest at OWC in June of 2003. The video features riders such as Kyle Hyams, Clint Tompkins, Brandon Thomas, Zak Stone, and others.

Once again, wakeskating has earned its own division in a wakeboard contest. Wakeskating was featured in the 2003 Cable Wakeboard Nationals. Zak Stone walked away with the National title.
Brian Grubb walked away with the win at the Kelowna, British Columbia SeaDoo Watercraft Pro Wakeskate Series stop. This was Grubb's first victory on the Pro Tour since the wakeskating division was added.
The votes have been tallied and the winners of the Bump Films Snap DVD giveaway have been chosen. The winners will receive an autographed DVD of Snap by one of the riders in the film.
The production run of LF skimskates is expected to be in dealers around the world by July 30th. The LF team have all slaished on this board and claim that it is pure fun.
Liquid Force had a change of heart on the graphics for their new concave wakeskates. See photos of the new graphics for the grip top concave skates and the foam top concave skates.
