The Real Deal About The Winch

Buttermag.com has revealed the myth about a winch system that will pull wakeskaters without the use of a boat. There has been a lot of hype about this new winch system lately and we now know that the winch is in fact legit and will soon be available for consumers to try for themselves. Read the interview with the creator of the winch, Tony Robinson, at Buttermag.com.

Paco De La Torre from Buttermag.com:
Here is a photo of Tony Robinson with the winch. Tony built the winch under the direction of Thomas. Tony flew the chopper that was used to film the aerial shots in Sfumato and is an experienced pilot and airplane builder. He is a miami local ripper and lives on the same lake as the miami wakeboard camp in Opa Locka, Miami. When it rains Tony can be found hauling the winch around town on the back of his jacked up truck looking for flodded streets and golf courses to get some skate time.

The New Winch

What does this mean for the sport of wakeskating? This means that wakeskaters will soon be able to session practically any body of water without having to spend thousands on a boat or have access to a boat what so ever. This also means that it will cost far less for newbie's to join in on the sport of wakeskating. How cool is that? Imagine the possibilities when the winch becomes available to consumers, they are endless. And remember, this is only the beginning. Look for more information about the winch in Buttermag's new book, VERBUM, that will also be coming out soon.
