Almost Heroes Tour Video Clips Date: 09-04-2012
Many years back, gas was only $2.00 a gallon, the gravy days were in full effect, and bus and van tours were pretty common in the wake industry. Obviously, they're a great way to get in touch with the fans and show off the new product, all while growing the sport.
The economy put a swift end to that trend, but 2012 was a bit different. With the end of the world looming, the guys at Remote decided to put all of their eggs in one black van and go on a 50 day tour with demo stops in between. The goal: to promote the heck out of wakeskating, log a few tricks, and turn riders on to Remote wakeskates.
We'll have to wait to see if the world really ends, but one thing is certain: Remote blew the small world of wakeskating up! If you weren't lucky enough to hit up one of their Almost Heroes tour stops, here are the three latest videos they put together to chronicle some of the travels and fun had along the way. But expect the grade A-ish to appear in the upcoming Remote team video. It's untitled, but due to release before the end of the world!
