KC Watersports Scion Open and Wakeskate Clinic

On July 11th, KC Watersports is pleased to host the second annual Scion Open Wakeboard Event. This year's event features a wakeboard / wakeskate competition on the cable, a skateboard competition on the patio, and winch demo on the beach. All these factors combine for what is sure to be an event to remember.

This year’s event features appearances by professional riders Aaron Reed, Tom Fooshee, and Danny Hampson. The pros will be hitting the cable and tearing up the rail in the Anarchy Eyewear Winch Pool.

There is open riding on the cable from 11:30 until the competition starts at 5:30. There will be beginner, intermediate, and advanced wakeboard division and an open wakeskate division.

$30 gets you a day pass on the cable, entry in to the competition, event tee and a BBQ dinner. You won’t find a better deal on the planet, so grab your crew, and head to the friendliest cable park in the world!

On Sunday the 12th, Reed and Hampson will host a wakeskate clinic at the cable park. The clinic runs from 10 to noon and the cost is just $20.
