O'Neill Presents The Byerly Toe Jam Finals September 18-20

Press Release
Date: 09-17-2008

Orlando, Fla, Sept. 15, 2008- 16 of the best wakeskaters in the world have been practicing every day for the opportunity to compete on wakeskating's biggest stage September 18-20 at the Byerly Toe Jam presented by O'Neill.

Keeping with Scott Byerly's vision to showcase all aspects of the sport, riders will compete in four different disciplines: cable park (OWC), winch setup (OWC), rail park (@ Projects behind Sea Doo Wake Edition) and boat (@ Projects behind Air Nautique 210). "It's been a crazy year and the riding keeps getting better and better," Byerly said. "This final event is shaping up to be the best wakeskate contest ever."

Byerly would also like to thank the sponsors of the Byerly Toe Jam including presenting sponsor O'Neill, Rockstar Energy Drink, Hyperlite, Reef, Arnette, Correct Craft and Sea Doo, for without them none of this would be possible.

All of wakeskating's media outlets will be hustiling at the event as well as FUEL TV, who will be featuring their program later this fall.

FUEL TV is a 24/7 action-sports lifestyle network for wakeskating, skateboarding, snowboarding, surfing, BMX and freestyle motocross. A unit of Fox Cable Networks, FUEL TV was launched July 1, 2003, and is seen in 25 million U.S. homes. To subscribe to FUEL TV, Call 877-4-FUEL-TV.
