Rockstar Wake Jam – Day Two
Wakeskating Rail Park Action in Wasaga Beach
Wasaga Beach, CAN. – 16 of today’s top wakeskaters showed their skills in the rail park on the Nottawasaga River in Wasaga Beach, Canada during the Rockstar Wake Jam.

Nick Taylor posted one of the highest scores of the day, in the head–to-head bracket
with four solid passes highlighted by a back lip shove and a switch boardslide front shove off the flat rail. Brandon Thomas rode well all day and met up with Reed Hansen in the final. Hansen laid down a solid run, with several shove variations of the incline and flat rails. BT rode pretty well, but needed a solid final pass to have a chance to win. The veteran rider came up big on his last line. Under serious pressure to top Hansen’s run BT landed several switch moves plus a 270
switch front board and rotated back to his regular stance, riding away with today’s Rail Park title. This was BT’s first toe jam victory since his “hat trick” of three events at the 2006 Byerly Toe Jam. “I went for some switch moves to increase the difficulty, and it worked out. I had been looking to do that line all day and I finally got to land what I wanted to. It’s cool to win in Wasaga Beach, because it has always been one of my favorite sites and I was so pumped to ride after getting motivated by everyone out there today – from the experienced guys to the up and comers.”

Saturday’s action heads back to the wake behind the Air Nautique 210 for the Rockstar Wake Jam Final, with the same 16 riders competing for the coveted title.
