Alliance Launches Wakeskate Specific Site, Alliancewakeskate.com April 16, 2008
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Alliance Launches Wakeskate Specific Site, Alliancewakeskate.com
Alliance Multimedia, home of Alliance Wakeboard, A.V.E., Alliance Wakeskate and Pull has launched Alliancewakeskate.com, a new website entirely devoted to the sport of wakeskating. The new site went live at midnight on April 16th, just in time for the start of the 2008 Byerly Toe Jam tour.
Alliancewakeskate.com will be on site at the Toe Jam to bring the latest results, photos, stories, interviews and videos, and then continue to update with the latest wakeskate content throughout the year.
“Wakeskating is growing too fast and there is too much going on for us to limit ourselves to issues anymore,” said Alliance Wakeskate Editor Brooke Geery. “We wanted a site that could host an unlimited amount of content and be updated in a timely manor.”
The new site features sections familiar to fans of Alliance Wakeskate, such as Spot or Not, On Deck and Droppings. New features, such as Trick Tips and Starting Point, offering help for beginners, have been added to the site. There is also a section for the best photos of the week entitled “Monday Covers” as well as videos, interviews and features.
Nike 6.0 is helping Alliance celebrate the launch by giving away a pair of Nike 6.0 Air Mogan Wakes every week for the next five weeks.
“We are very excited to be able to give wakeskating a venue like this, and will keep helping pushing to the sport for years to come!” Geery said.
