Early Round Results From The WWA Wakeskating World Championships Date: 08-26-2007

On August 23, Sparks marina said in an inviting voice, "Bros, my dance floor is your dance floor." So it was, and a few amateur and female wakeskaters took to the waters for day one of the WWA Wakeskating worlds.
On the amateur side of things, Collin Gee, Lance Duffet and Mark McMorris all qualified on to the following day's finals.
The lady bird contingent saw Megan McNeil, Stephanie Wamsley and Renee Jacquess advance on to the following day's finals.
Amateur Wakeskate Semifinals (top three advance) (Results from 8-23)

For the Amateur wakeskating finals, Lance Duffett would be the new amateur world champion, while Renee Jaquess would find herself on the podium once again, this time as a world champion.
The professional mens division would also hit the water for the first time during the weekend for their quarterfinals round. The round of 13 would be trimmed down to 8 for the following day's semifinal round.
