The total purse (which is split with wakeboarding) is yet to be determined, but it's expected to be larger than last year's purse, which totaled to 5,000 USD. Cash prizes for wakeskating will be handed out for best trick and to the overall top three places.

The Nokia Fise, which stands for "Festival International Sports Extreme," is an event that plays host to snowboarding, skateboarding, bmx, and aggressive inline competitions, and showcases these sports to an audience that exceeds 100,000 spectators over a five day period. Last year, a few people from Nokia Fise, Unleashed wakeboard mag and NeverRide thought the event would be a great opportunity to introduce wakeskating and wakeboarding to a crowd that may not be familiar with these activities, but could still watch them up close with a set-up that's one of the most creative wakeskating has seen.
Compared to last year's set up, this year's feature is larger, with longer pools and different rails, ledges, stair features and other jibs to hit. The course itself was designed by Hurricane Event, Fise Area, Unleashed wakeboard mag, and Hugo Charbit. Wakeboarders and wakeskaters were kept in mind throughout the design process, though the wakeskaters will most likely start from the second pool due to the size of the first set of ledges. It's designed as a three tired pool to rail set up, with the riders being pulled by two Hive winches by NeverRide.
