16 riders from Saturday's semifinal round would be cut down to nine (due to a tie) for Sunday's finals. Familiar names to the tour including Brian Grubb, Phillip Basino and last year's tour champion Brandon Thomas would all make it to Sunday's round. Some riders who have been creating a buzz in wakeskating, specifically Nick Taylor, Reed Hansen and Aaron Rathy would also perform well enough to ride another day.
