Pro Tour Adds Wakeskating

Finally, the pro tour has recognized that wakeskating is here to stay. For the first time in the history of the sport of wakeskating, the pro tour will be adding the division to all five of their stops in 2003.

The statement below is from Prowakeboardtour.com:

"One of the hottest new additions to the 2003 Pro Tour is the debut of the Pro Wakeskate Series presented by Sea Doo. This marks the first professional wakeskate series in the history of the sport. Look for names like Brian Grubb, Parks Bonifay, Scott Byerly, Drew McGuckin and Thomas Horrell to compete head-to-head in the wakeskate division. Wakeskating competition will be taking place at all five Tour stops."
