We are making history this June 30th with the first ever National Wakeskate Day.

National Wakeskate Day will be a day where any one and every one can get out on the water, enjoy the sport, and ride for there love of wakeskating. It is also a day to show that wakeskating is not just a branch off of wakeboarding, but a very rapidly growing and upcoming sport with amazing progression over the last few years.

How Will It Work?

This June 30th 2006, there will be three regions across America that will be hosting the event. These regions will be positioned along the Eastern, Central and West Coasts. Each region will have a lead member who will be organizing the event for their area. We are also working on getting sponsors set up at a main location in each region. Sponsors will be setting up booths with gear to check out when not riding.

We will also have a camera man in each region filming each rider on the lake that day. All of the video footage will be put together and edited into a featured film compliments of Wakeskating.com member Slapdown. Each region will also have several Mini Arsinal Wakeskates available for anyone to have some fun on.

Where Will It Be?

Locations will be:
Eastern Coast - Orlando Florida (OWC's boat lake)
Central America - Austin Texas (Lake Travis)
Western Coat - Southern California (Delta)

So what if you do not live near these areas? Don't worry! Simply go out to your favorite riding location, and enjoy the day. Bring someone with you that has never tried wakeskating. And if you are able to, try to get some video footage of you and your crew riding so that we can include you in the film.

We Need Your Help

We are currently still looking for a representative of the west coast to help organize the event in that region. We are also looking for shop in each region that can help us spread the word and provide boats, gear, etc.
