Buywake.com Art Show

Buywake.com recognizes that deep inside all of us there is a dormant creative force (more so in some than in others, I suppose). Sometimes this creative force needs a little external provocation for it to emerge. In light of this, Buywake.com has teamed up with Nevin to present the first ever Buywake.com Art Show.

The Buywake.com Art Show is open to all media which includes, but is not limited to, disciplines such as drawing, painting, photography, sculpture, printmaking, film and video, and digital media. The work submitted does not necessarily have to be wakeboarding related in any way (but realizing that you are all wakeboarders in some capacity, we are assuming that most of the work submitted will). The resident art critics at Buywake.com will select four grand prize winners. Each grand prize winner will receive a Nevin wake vest and TCH handle of his/her choice.

All entries must be submitted via email to eric@buywake.com by Thursday, June 30th (2005, of course). Contestants should include their name, address, phone number and email as well as a short vita/bio with their submission. The four lovely, talented winners will be chosen sometime during the first week of July.

As Andy Warhol once said, in the future everyone will have their 15 minutes of fame. The future is now. So bust out those pencils, brushes and cameras and get to work. Your 15 minutes are waiting.
