Byerly Toe Jam 2 - Ready To Jam

Byerly Toe Jam 2The second annual Byerly Toe Jam is set for April 21-23.

Who: World's Best Wakeskaters
What: The premier event in wakeskating, The Byerly Toe Jam
Where: The Projects in Bithlo, Florida Theprojectspark.com
When: April 21-23, 2005
Why: To grow the sport, push the riders and have fun.

With the sport of wakeskating still progressing at mach speed, the time is right to harness all the action for the biggest event in the sport, the Byerly Toe Jam. Now in it's second year, the event sponsors and media have committed to making this event bigger and better and the wakeskaters can't wait until April 21-23 when they'll get their chance to kill it at the Projects Park in Bithlo, Florida.

"I think the riding is going to be ten times better than last year." Byerly said. "The progression is crazy and all the riders are looking forward to the event, because they really like the format. The sponsors stepped up again and I really appreciate it because wakeskating definitely needs it."

Most wakeskaters haven't taken an "off season" this winter, so the progress made since last year's Toe Jam has been incredible. As the presenting sponsor, O'Neill has been collaborating with Byerly since last year's event on ways to improve. Additions for '05 include being filmed in HD for an up-coming Fusion TV show that is tentatively scheduled to air on May 24 & 28 at 6:00 pm eastern, 5:00 pm Central, 4:00 pm Rocky Mountain, and 3:00 pm Pacific on OLN. There are 12 riders invited and four wildcard spots available through a challenge on April 21. To register, go to Oneill.com.

Invited Riders:
Scott Byerly - The Legend
Brian Grubb - '04 Boat and PWC champion
Aaron Reed - '04 Best Trick Winner
