Calling all college boarders and wakeskaters! Spring Break is closer than you think and what a better place to break than in sunny, warm, Florida to get a ride in. The 2005 AWA spring break competition, co hosted by Rollins College and the University of Central Florida, will be held March 12-13, 2005. Dubbed the Spring King, the event will take place at The Projects in Orlando.

The Projects and their three manmade lakes offer the perfect surroundings for guys and girls to compete behind the boat Saturday while at the same time offering rail practice for Sunday's Slider Battle. Come prepared to ride, slide, have fun, and party!

Entrance fees are $35 and include registration to both the wake and slider competitions. Suggested hotels to park your gear and get some rest are:
