The University of Central Florida won the overall team title at the Correct Craft Collegiate Wakeboard National Championships and is currenlty the best wakeskating college in the nation. The torment was held November 6-7, 2004 at the Orlando Watersports Complex in Orlando, FL. Hosted by Rollins College and sanctioned by the American Wakeboard Association (AWA) and the WWA, the tournament featured 95 riders from 24 colleges and universities across the country, making it the largest Collegiate Wakeboard Nationals to date.

Since the conception of the Collegiate National tournament, 2004 was the first year in which wakeskate divisions were added to the format. Both men and women were able to participate in the new wakeskate divisions as a division was added for each gender. Throughout the weekend, a total of 27 wakeskaters showed up to compete in both the men's and women's divisions combined.

In the Men's wakeskate, Josh Kirby from Central Florida placed first and fellow teammate, Kyle Hyams, placed second. Jay Prock from Florida Southern rounded out the top-three placements. On the women's side, Megan McNeil from Central Florida took home the gold. Barrett Perlman from Rollins finished second and Lauren Bassett from Florida placed third.
