More 2005 Kampus ProductsKampus Wakeskates have released more of their 2005 product line. The Leif and Wahlman pro models have gotten a face lift as well as the Slide Series.
2005 Kampus Pro Models
Our Pro Model decks are manufactured and cured by a Hi-Frequency Cure Process, known as HFCP.
The process is much different than standard Cold Press Production which is commonly used in skateboard production today, or Heat cured/ Compression Molded which is used primarily in Wakeboard production today.
The HFCP cures the board from the center out, therefore eliminating the possibility of moisture being trapped within the board. This process is done before the Polyurethane Sealant is applied. By reducing the risk of moisture being trapped within the finished deck, we can deliver a board that prevents splitting or cracks during extensive use. We also took our time with a 24 hour cure process between each layer of Polyurethane sealant that not only keeps the board straight and warp free but also preserves the
board memory and pop.
Hybrid K Core Construction
This season Kampus is proud to introduce the Hybrid K Core Construction to the Pro Models.
The HKCC is constructed with running length blocks of precision cut wood, which are vertically laminated (bonded side to side) to ensure boards overall life and durability. This process has a proven track record in
snowboards with its strength, durability and extended board memory life.
We have defined the boards performance by using only the highest grade choice of woods for the core lay-up which consists of: Maple, Bass, Fur and Aspen, which delivers more snap, pop and life than any board on the market. These decks are made with 100% wood construction today.
Bi-AX Fiberglass
We increased the life of the deck and increased the stiffness, both vertical and torsional, by adding specially woven Bi-Ax Fiberglass sheets to the board. The sheets are cut within 2 inches of the outline shape of the board to prevent splintering and to keep the fiberglass trapped within the deck for safety.
Wahlman Series

Leif Series

2005 Kampus Slide Series
Made by Cold Press construction, using the highest Marine Grade Waterproof Glues to ensure the life and bond of the deck.
A 9 Ply Horizontal Laminated board, construction of Maple and Bass woods-
long grain and Cross grain mixed.
Plastic formulated base sheet, Sub laminated Graphics for a long lasting
durable graphic.
Sealed with 3 layers of Polyurethane sealant, applied 24 hours apart each application providing a hard durable furniture quality finish.

Kampus KS1 Whie/Navy
Will be available in the fall of 2004.
