Ryan Lemons Lands A Hardflip Date: 08-03-2004
Ryan Lemons stepped up his riding skills even more by landing the first ever hardflip on a wakeskate that we are aware of. Luckily for Lemons, the camera was rolling and captured him sticking the trick and riding away while holding on for his life.
For those wondering exactly what a hard flip consist of, Lemons explained that it is a frontside 180 shuvit in combination with a kickflip.
While speaking with Lemons after his epic day of riding, he credited his new deck by Integrity for allowing him to land such a technical trick. Lemons said, "The deck is just ridiculous. I feel like I can flip it however I want." Lemons also said that he has a lot more up his sleeve that he will be working on. He told Wakeskating.com that once he got the hardflip motion straight in his head, it took him only two attempts to ride away from one. We are excited to see how far Lemons can push his riding.
