Steve Schoenhals Wins In Ft. WorthDate: 05-23-2004
Steve Schoenhals walked away from the 2004 Ft. Worth Pro Tour stop with his first ever first place finish in the SeaDoo watercraft Pro Wakeskate Series. Thomas Horrell finished in second place with Aaron Reid following in a very close third place. Last stop's first place winner, Danny Hampson, finished behind his Cassette teammates with a solid fourth place.
The new elite format for the 2004 Pro Tour has seemed to shake things up a bit. We'll soon see if Ft. Worth was a true shake up or just a fluke when the tour hits Reno, Nevada next. Judging by the first two events, any of the elite riders competing can end up on top of the podium at the next stop.
