Cablestock 2004 At Texas Ski Ranch TSR - New Braunfels, TX - The second annual CableStock weekend will take place May 14-16, 2004 at Texas Ski Ranch. This three day riding and party festival will host wakeboarding and wakeskating competitions on both the Cable and Boat Lakes, plus TSR will be open to the public to ride on the Skate Park, Cable Lake, Boat Lake and MotoX track. In addition, TSR will host some crazy TSR-style competitions, such as head-to-head cable, sick trick competition and that wicked wakeskate skeetball event that everyone's still raving about!
Tons of live music, a bikini contest and lots of partying will last throughout the weekend. TSR's unique venue, offering one of a kind, side-by-side skate, wake and moto sports, plus beach, bar and grill, MasterCraft dealership and pro shop, is the ideal location for 3 days of riding and partying for wakeboard and action sport enthusiasts. Riders not competing can purchase a 3 day cable pass for just $34. Three days for the price of one! Skate and MotoX sessions will be discounted!
Lat year riders competed for cash and prizes, as Keith Lidberg of Orlando, FL won the Double Up competition on the boat lake and placed second in the Cable Sickest Trick competition, breaking all notions that a rider must choose between the cable or boat. Continuing that trend, former WWA world boat champion Donald Shelbrick won the Cable Sickest Trick competition with a flawless Double S-bend to blind. In the most fun and possibly most entertaining competition of the weekend, The WakeSkate Shoot Out, Brandon Thomas went bigger, and launched off of his wakeskate and the kicker with more style than any other competitor.
