does anyone know why a camera housing manufacturer sponsors riders? wouldnt it make sense that they sponsor filmmakers instead? or do they already do that?

I don't mean to be an a$$hole but, come on can Stef Tor even 3 shuv? At this contest I say her fall on a surface fs shuv. Maybe it's because she is a girl, but I think there are much better riders who deserve it more then her.

I have no clue on Stef's skill's so I won't comment there,but she's marketable.In other words she looks a hell of a lot better in those board shorts than any of you guy's Wink

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, and I will always respect the opinions of others. With that, I have to say that LFfool246 you are being an a$$hole, but I'm cool with that.

Stef has got mad skills. Dudes seem to always give her a hard time. Why?! Because she is better than them.

We support her to the fullest. She is sick! Her 2005 pro model is rad and we are certain that she deserves it. We are super stoked with her new sponsor and she deserves to be on the Epic Team.

congrats stef! and LFfool246, i know wat ur saying but ive riden with her and she is good. not better than most of us but most of havent won worlds and dont have a pro model coming out for 2005. i have mad respect for that chick and yeah she does look way better than anyone else in boardshorts.

First of all I'll just like to say you all are taking this the wrong way. I'm just saying like I think it's kind of wierd that she won worlds for am wakeskate, and everyone told me she only landed shuvs and fs shuvs. I'm happy for her, but I just think there are many other riders on this site a lone who could of qualified for that sponsorship as well. Congrats though Stef.

Congrats to Stef... And to those who don't think shes good, you haven't seen her ride her best. I was at owc one time and she came at about noon and was just strait up rippin it.

Again... some of you dont seem to be getting the point, well just LF TOOL i mean fool. how many girls do you know out there that are even doing shuvs?

You hang out at the cable parks? cause you remind me of those kids that are always there tryin to bag on everyone with a sponsor.

NONE of us go out and have a perfect run everyday. we all fall on stupid shizzle.

Once i get things finished up with our parent company i will be searching for a few kids for our team, and im looking for people that are well rounded riders that have the ability to progress into something, not just people that can win a contest once and a while or get a few good shots in a video or mag.

I think this is the direction that Epic is following as well.
