So today i go over to my girlfriends to ride, look in her shed and find a mint cassette 4trac(in bag with all the fins)! I took her for a spin behind the seadoo, total danny hampson sesh like the "good vibes" video on youtube. I was wondering how i should preserve this piece of history and what could i honestly get for it if i was to sell her? mayb two integs?

That is definitely not a bad day at the lake!

If you want to preserve it, don't ride it. Value truly depends on the buyer!

The best way to preserve any cassette is to send it to esnow. Smile

I randomly saw a dude pull out that board and shred it at the cable one day in the spring. i tried offering him cash on the spot for it starting at $75. I got up to $300 cash on the spot right there and he still wouldn't let it go, he must know his history! I'm not sure if I would have paid $300 but i kept going higher and he wouldn't let it go.

Awesome story! It's like the stories you hear about people finding a rare car in someone's old barn. The person had it kept all those years and never knew what they had the entire time.

Gives me hope to find a couple of boards that I've been looking for. Make sure to give that deck some love. Glad to hear you actually went out and rode it instead of keeping her under glass!
