we're looking at this boat http://kalamazoo.craigslist.org/boa/1904190181.html

it's a 14 footer and he said its ten years old. he also said its rated for a 10 horsepower motor......... can that be right? i thought some people were putting 20's and 30 horsepowers on 14 footers?

maybe the width has something to do with it too, mines a 14ft and 4ft wide and its rated to 25hp.. that one looks a lot skinnier than mine.

U could always reinforce the transom if it had a
decent thickness to begin with u don't wana go to thick cause then u can't slide the motor down enough motor weight is a factor too
