im moving down there for college and want to take my new (to me) seadoo. where would anyone suggest riding around there?

plenty of lakes/rivers in the area. pretty much use google maps if youre not familiar with the area. seguin, san antonio, austin all have water...youre surrounded by it

Canyon Lake, Dunlap, Placid, and McQueeny are all in your area. If you want to drive up. Lake Austin, Travis and the Perd.

Winching is big in that area.

I wouldn't go to Lake Placid. They have huge gators there that eat people in a single bite. They made a movie about it.

yay! a new riding buddy... My favorite around here is placid. but dunlop and canyon are always nice to hit up. Mcqueeney gets pretty crouded so I try to stay away from that one.

but san marcos has a ton of winch spots since the river flows right through the whole town. I have a boat and winch so hit me up when you move up here

denskiesATX, I'm down with that but the team already at Texas State includes a little bit of everything. It has skiing, wakeboarding, trickskiing, and like 2 wakeskaters. Its pretty gay. An all wakeskating one would be awesome

CK512, I have like 5 friends on the ski team, the dues are really expensive, and they only go towards traveling to ski competitions.....which is lame. We should get our own thing started and I have about 4 friends with SICK boats that we can have access to. Two on lake austin, two on Travis, and One Super air nautique team edition thats trailered.... I think we can make this happen...
