Well not really I went last weekend, but this will be my official time for the season. So my dad came home from work (washington) and we got to take the boat out after wiring up some tower speakers. We went down to the lake today, it was myself on the skate and my cousin on his wakeboard. After reading up a bit more on the motion my feet should make for ollies I finally got some decent pop on them. I didn't try any re-entrys or i/o's but I can ollie fairly high now which is nice, I mastered my surface 180's and wake boardslides so I decided to try some shuv's. The vary first attempt I got sooo close to landing. It got around all the way, my front foot got on, and the toes of my back foot got on but I fell, man was I pissed, but it was nice because I got so close, but we didn't get any vids of that. So my next few attempts were ok, but not as good. I can get the board around every time but my feet usually get caught up or the board gets away from me, any tips?

Tower speakers

Second shuv (vid still processing)

A few screenshots from the vids, they look ok but I dropped the handle

provin1327, Laughing from the first screen shot it appears landed, try em in the flats - take a progressive edge(away from the wake) and as soon as you level out the board is when you want to spin it - concentrate on where you want your feet to land

keep the vibes good, it makes tricks allot easier when you are in a good mood Cool

Oh I don't paintball anymore. It was too expensive with the jeep and wakeskating, i've been meaning to change it but I haven't been on the site since last summer, and all the paintball places closed down here.

MattG- so your saying right after I get out there I should get off my edge and bam spin it? Should I pop hard like an ollie too?

provin1327, yeah as soon as you back off your edge spin the board, and no work on the rotation first- the pop will come in time
