I had trouble with that when learning 3 shuvs also. It's pretty much all in the catch. Just watch the board come around. I know it's kind of lame to do, but if you're still having trouble, try taking the fins off if you can and just do kind of surface shuvs just to get used to the rotation and the catch. Then slap the fins on and pop that like it was your last trick.
You might also want to slide your foot up a little bit also, it seems like your weight would be centered over the back half of the board which might make it a little more difficult, Just try like 3/4 of the way towards the nose with your front foot. |

i had trouble with them to but got the hang of them with the way i was setting up for them, i found that i cut out to hard and had too much speed, so now i slow down and i could land them, try changing the speed and edge when doing them to suite your needs. _________________ www.neverride.com

| EDGE Out, get flat, wait one second then throw it. ALso if your land on the back of the board scoot your fron foot forward and vice versa. |

| headhuntermx4, I know the surface is lame. But I was just trying to think of how he could get used to watching the rotation. I guess you could always carpertboard too. |
