Hey guys. Looking at a ‘17 Axis T22... anyone have one? Want to make sure the wake is good for surfing. I’ll have to drive ans get it. Don’t want to make the long trip to find out the wake is a turd.
Hope everyone’s doing good! _________________

Did you get it? Pics? What is the difference in the T22 opposed to the normal A22?
I will be getting an Axis at some point once boat prices come back to normal... Thinking about the A20 tho. |

Pirate Im just seeing this thread but i worked for an Axis dealer when the T22 was released.. yes it throws a great surf wake and is an awesome all around boat.
Straitline makes a bow bag that fit up front and then drop a sumo 750 in each rear locker. Those 3 sacks were what we found to make an optimal surf wave for that boat. Maybe 100lbs of lead in 20lb bags that you can fine tune with.
But that boat is solid depending on optins installed, drives great and had a great all around wake for boarding and surfing and unweights was a nice skate wake.
BB thr A series is the pickle fork/ wide bow.. T series is the traditional bow.
They also updated the T hull for a better surf wake _________________ Scuba Steve's Wakeskate Film Libray |

So I ended up with a a22. It has plug and play and is pretty loaded as it was the showroom model at larson marine. Couldn’t be happier. Only skated behind her once... I had her loaded all the way up and that was a mistake. I’m old now and with full ballast I don’t want anything to do with that wake. Emptied the back and ran the center full with a little water in the front and back and really liked the wake.
Thanks for the reply’s boys! This silly forum will always have a place in my heart. _________________

PIRATE, yea.. any of the Axis line, even the A20m fully loaded will be a monster wake especially on a skate.
with the back empty and some center weight and bow weight made a nice transition for re entry stuff.. the axis lineup is solid, enjoy it! _________________ Scuba Steve's Wakeskate Film Libray |
