I'm kind of happy that red bull would do a takeover ad campaign period with us. It is not like wakeskate companies are running to me with advertising opportunities..

Anyone's always been free to submit articles. To be perfectly honest, it's not anyone's first choice and it's hard to get people to commit. Add in that I just don't have the fire I once did and the articles are what they are. Further, I don't think anyone ever came here for the articles...even when I invested my time in stuff I was really proud of. The difference we have from any other site is the forum (love it or hate it--some definitely see it as a negative) and the history. Nobody that ever really tried to work on here was ever from florida and I don't think any of them were a part of a huge scene either. It's hard to get cool stuff flowing when you don't have that connection.

Early on, cassette, dvs and integrity had ads on here, and maybe kampus. After that, everyone wanted to post but nobody wanted to pay.

I have one big project planned though...

I would pay a member fee to eliminate ads.

Well now I can look forward to the WSM for actual wakeskating coverage. Finally. Thanks to everyone involved in it. Couldn't be happier.
