the guy was like a quarter mile off shore. Kiteboarders and our area don't mix. I feel so bad for that guy and everyone associated with him.

Brian, where did you hear it was great whites? maybe it was the same one that ate the great dane in the S-bend.

yeah the people who examined the body tried to match the bite marks with the shark and they think that it was a group of great whites.

theyll skeptical it was baby great whites now.
they said something about bull or tiger sharks they think now??
its just what ive heard at school and local news though so who knows.
the memorial service for the guy is tonite at the beach

Yeah we definately have a ton of them. i scuba dive and i always see sharks when diving off of jupiter. and last time i surfed i had the shark helicopter watcher like circling me and my buddy and were just like this cant be good.. Shocked

you just gotta not worry about them.

It's still rare for this to happen. Look at the publicity it gets, it's not like people hype up people dieing of natural causes, poor diet, or smoking cigarettes; because that is always happening.

I wouldn't want this to happen to me though, regardless.

almost 100% there is no greatwhites in Florida but i seen my brother get bit at cocoa by a bull so that what im guessin it was...

I love that the headline reads "Great White Sharks Likely Killed Man", and in the article it says that the "expert" doesn't think it was a great white. Fvcking media.
