After one night of illegal winching I found that we needed a longer winch arm to pull our pulldozer around. At our second winching spot on Monday we ran into an older guy that had been welding for 50 years. We explained to him what we wanted and he built a custom extension for us.....for 30 bucks!!! What a deal!

I doubt he will make more of them for me at $30 bucks...

It was a great experience.. We just started telling him what we wanted.. He walked around this shop pulling parts off the ground.... will this work?...how do you want it?.... until we had it just like we wanted...

Great old man...then he let us winch on his property.. best $30 bucks I have spent in a LONG time.

i've got a 5' extension i welded out of some unistrut. it just pins into the two hitch hole so i can have a 5' extension down to a 3' extension. then - i welded a wakeskate rack and some wet shoe holders to it. so now i can drag around the winch and the wakeskates all in one. all thats left is to figure out a little holder for my stakes and hammer - lol!!!!~

I think we are going to make some mods to this. Maybe a board rack clamped onto the extension?
