The all composite is 10 lbs. The Hampson 42" is 11 lbs. and the Reed 42 is 12 lbs.
Mine hasn't broken and I beat the crap out of it. So don't listen to them.

Scott MN Peterson, The Hampson weights less than the Reed? I thought they were the same skate with different graphics...Is it the black and grey paint vs the yellow paint? Smash

Scott MN Peterson, can you elaborate on the differences between the two boards, I am probably going to buy one of the 42 composites and would rather pick on how they ride than how they look

so it was bothering me and I weighed the 42's. Both 42 composite SST's weighed in at 11.8lbs on a digital shipping scale with the fins and cardboard insert for packaging. Figure around 11lbs for the 40.5.
