Byerly Demo on lake Austin

So I drove about 200 yards down the street from my house on lake Austin today because a little birdy told me that the entire byerly team INCLUDING scott FREAKIN byerly were having a demo. I arrived around 2 o'clock to a brand new nautique 230 and some fresh byerly skates ready for me to shred. I hoped on the boat and rode the skates(the legacy was super fun). After I got to demo some stuff I got off the boat to see that the team had come out of the tour bus. There was George Daniels, Scott, and the rest of the crew sitting down havin some pizza.

I was completely star struck, and not sure what to say to any of them. As I went to my car to grab my phone, I walked right by Byerly and in a nervous attempt at socializing I said "Hey man what's up?" He replied "Hey dude what's goin on" and kept walking. I felt like I had just said hi to jesus or something...crazy.

Then I was leaving I was snapping this picture(below) of their tour bus on my phone, when George Daniels came up and jokingly said "no pictures."
I laughed and introduced my self and told him that I was a huge fan. We talked for a minute about Texas, and their upcoming stops.

By far the coolest day on lake Austin. Ever.

This was a long and wordy post. Sorry if it seems boring, but it was F-ing UNREAL to me....

Damn I love this sport.

sounds great! it reminds me a few summers ago i asked danny for his autography at wakestock and he was like dude your the only one who asked me all day lol and he chilled with my cousin and i for a bit watching the oakly pool jam. nice guy

yea they were in houston tues and it was awesome we were all just chilling in the backyard of M2 Sports' lakehouse grilling and riding right in front of the house on san jac river.

I got the first set of the day. The first pic is me shuvin' byerlys personal skate, behind his icon edition nautique, with george daniels driving and scott in the boat too. pretty awesome

the second pic George Daniels took a set after me and was RIPPING!

and the last is some peeps about to take a set with scott driving his boat

fastgreens, its not a legacy painted its a proto.

mojo, its a wood concave proto he's been working on for a while.

CStich08, looked like a legacy to me when i watched him ride it in houston.... annnnnnnd.... its def not wood... i know he rides a wood proto board, but that is not it.

ok now i can tell it's a legacy. that first pic didnt show the channels and stuff so i couldnt tell. george is in need of a pro model bad.

fastgreens, no, its not a legacy, its a prototype for the board that will replace the legacy next year, and the fact that its composite is the only thing it has in common with that board. it rides COMPLETELY different.

CStich08, you were not mistaken, but that board definitely isnt wood. the wood skate is on hold again for the moment.
