today was my first day wakeskating and it was the funnest thing iv ever done. I got up two other people with me, one could just ride but me and my neighbor were doing surface 180s and switch surface 180s and i was doin lipslides, pretty consistent at both of them too (mainly cuz thats all i was really tryin). I attemped to bodyvarial and bs surface 180 but i kept falling forward on the varial and couldnt pass the handle on the bs 180. One thing i had a problem with was ollies. I could only get like 6 inches high because i couldnt get any pop, any tips?

are ollies easier with a pylon cuz i went with a bridal and it seemed like it pulled me down a bit, but the main problem was te pop, it seemed like it would just sink when i pushed down on the tail.

Me. Practice a lot, and you'll get better. But if you said your tail was sinking, pop it faster, don't give it time to sink. Or tell your driver to pull you faster.

it really sounds like your ridin to slow. dont crank your speed up to 22 jut cuz we say you need to ride faster, all im saying is ride at a speed where youre comfortable and let it gradually increase. im pretty comfortable ridin at like 19-21 mph but ive been doin it awhile and im as comfortable on my board as i am sittin in my living room. im 5'6" 125 lbs
