So I was late to work today. Out partying last night at firestone was epic. And I go to the Mobile to get some gatorade to help stop my pounding headache and what do I see??? Some kid standing in line infront of me with mesh Triumphs on. So I ask if he a wakeskater and of course he is and he is heading to Odub right now. I ask if he is on the site and he says no. Unfortunately I didnt have much more time to talk but I was so stoked to see a random wakeskater. Where else do you see random skaters??

sweet. i never run into random skaters here in baytown. cheapskate and myself are loners around here. just a bunch of strappers in this neck of the woods.

I invite my friends that skateboard to come wakesktin with me all the time! But they usually suck. Wink

And i never see random wakeskaters around either.. Sad

Just strappers here too...skaters are a rare breed around this area.

bt371, The only way I knew this guy was a shredder was the shoes. DVS Mesh Triumphs are a dead give away.

My buddy that is good at skateboarding, always now comes out and he is pretty good for the amount he does. Last year he stomped a big spin (even tho it wasn't the best looking) on his 3rd attempt. He is progressing so fast that he is pushing me to learn new tricks faster so i don't get passed by him. luckily i have been indo boarding this winter Twisted Evil

so i'm hoping its going to give me an advantage Smash

i wish i had a badass to help me progress. i've taught myself throughout the years and haven't done that bad at it. fvck it though... me and cheapskate ride for the soul of it anyway.

i went to a winch spot in orlando.. and there were randoms already winchin it .. that only happen in brotown.... i was bumbed =(

I'm lucky to see a strapper around here. I honestly will meet a weekend warrior strapper every couple of months and normally they aren't that core. Just enjoy it on saturdays. I also rarely see more than 2 wakeboats when at the lake. I'll see 3 wakeboarders, and out of them maybe 1 can actually do more than ride around.

anytime I run into a skateboarder round here I always ask "wanna learn to wakeskate?" I get a typical answer like what is that? I have taken a couple of family members out that do skateboard, hell I even gave one my Byerly 08 Legacy.

About twenty wakeskaters go to my school, they play it on our morning show sometimes. Its crazy how few people i have to explain what wakeskating is anymore. Steph Wamley's brother goes to my school too. Laughing

I'd prefer more to be around. It's bad when we can go to one of the best coves on the lake for wakeboarding and skating and not see another boat all day. This is on a saturday too. This cove isn't big enough to lose someone either. Maybe it'll get crowded this year.

I was looking for an apartment middle of '04 and looked out behind the place and see a boat full of wakeskaters.. Shocked
