you must mean the standerd store because the boardstop doesn't have it, and to my knowledge, there weren't going to be any other outlets to offer this video.

anyway, I had high hopes that it was going to arrive yesterday. That was not the case, but today seems promising...(fingers are crossed)

(10.38 am edit): gawt it... Cool

go to www.thestanderdquarterly.com and then there's a link to the store. Or, if you check for the RLAND article on the front page, there's a direct link to the DVD there.

I'd say the film is right around 45 minutes from start to finish (including credits). Like the others said, it's amazing. It's a bit more low key with the music, but I dig it. There are falls shown and you see the path to greatness and sweet success. With some of the angles, you really get an appreciation for how grubb rides (up and out) and a. reed's pop is still mind boggling. He had that re-entry backside three in his RLAND trailer and I still think it's nutty. Watch his stuff in slow mo if you want to perfect the art of re-entry pop...

There are also some bonus sections, like a slide show, the trailer and then a "travels" section which has entertainment value as well.

All in all, the film is amazing and is something that really can't be compared to anything that's ever been done in our industry. I think of linear, but even still it's just not really even close. I'm glad bryan decided to go on ahead with his film experiment, for sure...

Cool

RLAND was a very inspirational film for me, I love it when the odds are put up against someone and they can still produce such a great product. Filming and editing with that old 16mm camera and what came of it just really inspired me alot. Great Film and an awesome new perspective on wakeskate films.

it's actually really crazy because I'm not sure how much outside funding he had. I don't recall seeing any sponsors listed on the box or anything.
