|
|
Two questions:
1) I got some mud or something in my grip and it hasnt seemed to come off just from riding, any cleaning tips??
2) My trucks are crazy lopsided. They will turn one way but not the other. My deck doesnt sit level and the board wont go straight at all, I have to put all my weight on one side for it to go straight. This makes it hard to do anything. I've tried tightening and loosening, but it never seems to help. Do I need new trucks? New bushings or something like that? Anything?
Thanks. |

1) get some grip gum, it cleans most things from grip.
2) you must be turning by doing a tic-tac type motion rather than actually turning the board through leaning. if you dont then your trucks nust not be equally tightened _________________ I like to choke when my team needs me the most, no Romo. |

| I'd like to be able to turn by leaning but it doesnt seem to work with the way my trucks are working these days. One way I can turn fine by leaning (dont even need to really lean at all) and the other side I go to lean and the wheels come off the ground and throw off my balance. I've tried having them both all the way tight, just so they would be level, and that didnt help anything. |

yea, dont get tensors though cuz they have the worst bushings of all major trucks. i recommend ventures or industrials, mainly ventures. _________________ I like to choke when my team needs me the most, no Romo. |

Frye, true, cuz i dont give a shmat if i have dirt in my grip, but if you have clay or putty or something equally ass-paining to get out, then buy grip gum. _________________ I like to choke when my team needs me the most, no Romo. |

Yes to grip gum and new trucks. I like Indys (some people complain they are too heavy, but it makes absouletely no difference to me, I can still ollie gnar shite no problem).
I suggest when you get new trucks, riding them pretty loose the first few days to break in the bushings right. It makes a good difference in the long run. _________________

I think new bushing for$.25 would help after you put them in and retighten your trucks. Power wash that biatch. _________________ dbanana wrote:
