Hi Guys,

The idea behind the site is two fold:

For lake owners, Bookwake manages all of the bookings. It frees up staff time so as users can book on-line. The lake owner can enter all of the user details for all riders of the lake. The user can then be alllocated credits so that they can book on-line. A lot of lakes in the uk will sell memberships which will give the rider X number of ski's to use. You can print out day sheets, reports of user stats, and rider preferences such as requested instructor, boat or any other requirments etc.

Theres also a stack of booking rules which are used to allow or disalow riders to book as the lake owners require. For example, you may not want your riders to book and then to cancel 5 minutes before the ride on-line.

For Riders - Bookwake was designed to provide visibility of how busy the lake is, for example, in the summer here, our big ski clubs get real busy. We ride at several different lakes, so being able to browse free slots, even if your not a member is really useful.

The bigger picture is once several clubs are using the system, you will then be able to do a search of a specific area e.g. post code etc for any free slots.

Theres stacks of features in there so plese let me know if you want a login to a demo system and see what you think.

Weve got several lakes using and testing the system who are really pleased. We have servers in the US also so were looking to start testing there and in Europe also.

Cheers, Ben.

Yea, I hear ya, but development costs money. For the rider its free, and for the lake owners its a monthly rental for an always on service.

Ben.
