okay awhile ago i won 2nd place in the wakeside artisrt expression contest and one myself a liquidforce impulse 41, well anyway the first day i rode it after doing a wake jump and a shuv the thing was covered in cracks. I got it warranteed and traded for a bilevel the otherday and now i releised that the fin holes were drilled wrong. Does anyone know if tha would be covered or if there would be a quickfix without damaging the board. I dont want to ride finless cause i hate riding finless and the one screwed up hole is just like 1/4 of an inch off to make it work. What should i do??????? _________________ oh great now i have ink all over the screen |

that doesnt help him at all now does it.
try filling the holes with epoxy and then redrilling. thats all i can think of if its not covered in warranty. _________________ 407-212-7425 |

Catalyst, did you do this through a shop? sorry, I'm not familiar with the contest, but you should be able to take the deck back since it's a craftsmanship issue (which could happen to ANY company). If I were you, I'd try to work with the source to switch that deck up.
Hopefully that helped, but if you want, i can try to push a clothing company on you or somethign like that, since that's the hot thing to do on these message boards right now. Anyway, good luck!
EDIT: Catalyst, who is that in your profile? Were you involved with that shoot at all, or is that more of a promo thing? it's cool, either way..like the metronome thing. _________________ *The opinions expressed are on my behalf and not those of wakeskating.com* |

Cool. So I would expect he could work with that shop to get a good board. Do it, just do it... _________________ *The opinions expressed are on my behalf and not those of wakeskating.com* |

thanks electric snow, yeah ill probbaly just take it back to where i traded it up, haha i feel ,like a jerk though aking two decks to warrantee in like a 5 day period, oh well they'll understand. Evan Park, whatever illl still ride it but jus one fin style in the true cassette fashion. Its just really lame cause whoever drilled the hole was really close but they only get a c for craftmanship, i guess his mom will be angry when he gets his report card....Oh yeah and all this brand pushing is lame, it doesnt help anyone and clogs up the forum with stupid meaningless garbage... Oh yeah2, esnow i wasnt involved on the shoot i just liked the picture when i sw it on choicewake.com there are alot more photos there. _________________ oh great now i have ink all over the screen |

haha true but now i wont have to feel bad about warrantiing the fin hole because the fiznackling thing delamed right after i just finished riding it for the first time. Other than that though the skate is sick, i love th way it rides, it feels so much more like a skateboard. _________________ oh great now i have ink all over the screen |

that's cool. And you shouldn't feel bad about returning a deck with a craftsmanship issue--I'm sure they'll understand (but seven11dmd might be on to something:). And I'm hoping you get a deck from the new batch. Again, good luck! _________________ *The opinions expressed are on my behalf and not those of wakeskating.com* |
