kento911 & electricsnow are right about Omen. Subvert is doing an article on Omen now, and boy am I impressed. So check out the site so when we post it, you can read about the fuss.

Seriously, after talking to someone that rides with collin and is really behind his wakeskating deal, I was like "How could I NOT get behind this?" I'm inspired by what's going to go down in the north west.

so whats the word with omen? would anyone care to share a bit of info, or are you just gonna drop their name without any further details about their product(s)? Confused

as for what board to ride...do your own research. dont let anyone here tell you what to ride or even what brands to check out, because there is FAR too much brand whoreism on these boards.

yeah yeah i know how i could find out information, it just kinda bugs me how information hasnt been officially released yet people seem to be plugging them. it just seems too much like a "buy this brand because its core" kind of thing. the average joe knows nothing of Omen, yet you guys are telling this kid to check them out? i mean no harm to Omen, i just wish someone would put out some sort of teaser of someone riding one, or some rough specs, or something tangible (err...pics...or...video?) that might get people stoked on it rather than just saying "check this out."

my apologies for having an opinion...please...carry on.

p.s. word on the street says collin is w/ Krown. perhaps they will press his boards for him.

scott a, The only reason more information has not been released is because i dont want some corpo jerk taking what i have worked on for the past two years and knocking it off and calling it his own because he has more money than i do.

There are a few who do know what's up with the design, construction and the shape, as well as what i am about and my own morals about construction and not just releasing a pile of crap and calling it a well built wakeskate... i have trusted these people because i know i can.

To me its really quite stupid to have to keep something so simple as this such a secret from everyone, believe me i have wanted to share what i have been building for quite a long time now, but you and i both know very well how this industry works and how some companies are so prone to just blatantly taking what others have worked hard on just so they can make a quick buck.

Things would of been much more smooth and the boards would of already been released if i had not made the decision to dump the investor i was working with and do this completely on my own with my own money. As well as having to change manufacturers due to their incompetence to build the boards correctly... but im not going to sacrifice my pride or my integrity for money or anything else... so i have made alot of sacrifices along the way one being one of my many most prized possessions my dvx-100a as well as many other things to afford new molds and press on, i truly believe in wakeskating and my boards. There will be more info in the Subvert article and there will be a complete website up in the next few months with the decks for pre-sale of the 2006 season. It will be full of pics and specs as well as a complete breakdown of the construction... Im not suggesting i have the cure for cancer but i do believe in what i have designed and built. For those who have given me your support, much thanks... it keeps me positive with all of this, especially when times have been tough.

As far as Collin riding for Crown, that is the first thing i have heard about that and i was with him a few days ago and he failed to mention anything of the sort, he and i have been friends for years and it would be a surprise to me that he would not of mentioned it to me... but i guess anything is possible no matter how highly unlikely, because he is doing fairly well with his boards and he takes great pride as well in riding and designing a superior product than some Chinese or Taiwan mass produced pile of crap.
