1st wakeskater on Pelican Lake, Minnesota

Lol, i have been waiting since last summer to get a wakeskate (my parents wouldn't let me get one). I finally got one 2 days ago. I have horrible patients, so i got one of my friends to drive my brother's boat down to the lake. I was just dock starting cuz the water was to cold to sit in. I didn't get very far (6 trys, but hey, it is my first time ever) and when i got outa the water i couldn't feel my legs, seriosly, i slapped them and couldn't feel a thing. But it was sweet, i am so glad i bought a wakeskate and can't wait till summer.

Ya go ahead and make fun of my newbish story, I don't care, i am too stoked.

__I wish i had a wetsuit, lol, i put on a long sleeve shirt and then some under armor over that, and just my boarding shorts.

__They wouldn't let me get one because they thought our boat wasn't able to tow somebody wakeskating. (9.9 hp lund) Lol, i went up to a nearby town and purchased one, they blew up on me but i finnaly got them to see things my way. thankfully, i can't beleave they didn't make me return it Smile

I got a kampus swing 39.5... i like the concave edges, it feels like skating almost.

Dude you're insane. I'm 200+ miles south of you and even I haven't got in the lake yet (mostly cause I know how cold it is). I will really soon though, well once I get some time. So probably a few weeks.

Ya man, i was so surprised, cuz i wakeboard with my friends alot and they got huge boats. I was thinkin it was to small but worth the try. My brother was driving it and he said there was a huge jerk everytime i landed. It won't be anything used for pulling huge tricks, but it'll be fun to take on road trips. Very Happy

I go swimming in minnewaska alot because it is right next to the skatepark. (lol the skatepark is so cruddy) But none of my friends have boats on it.

I go on lake amelia alot thow (I don't know how to spell amelia). That lake is so nice. My friend lives on it. It is perfect for building a rail, in his backyard I go like 100 yards from the shore and my head is still out of the water. And i never heard of lake scandy... i just moved from southdakota a year ago so I am not to familiar with this place.
