the red bull logo on top is actually a piece of griptape. and yes his board does look sweet with the stripes.

the wakeboarders would pass off the rope to someone else becasue the side they wanted the rope on the left side of the rail. and to get the rope on that side you have to walk on the bank closest to the freeway where there were stickers and thornes.

if anyone was there today, i was the ropeboy today....

yes. there were stickers and thorns but it was mainly mud.

there was some sick riding but everyone was tired and had a bad day they said. everyone was doing starts out of the back of a lifted truck(one of the wakeboarders owned it). it was pretty sick.

also grub had his own video camera there (someone else filmed it) so some of the footage might end up in a video....

That looks pretty cool. I love how the winch has opened up so many new opportunities to do stuff like that.

It is also sweet that the shop put on an even like that.

God, I need a shower after just LOOKING at that water...

Also, I'm not sure what DC's involvement in the wake industry is like anymore. Grubb is sporting some vans crap (and I'm surprised nobody mentioned that he's now thomas' VZ teammate). And in some other issues of alliance, shane bonifay was wearing some dvs foot wear.
