New WBM

They May issue of WBM is hot.. Definently a lot of wakeskating, most I've ever seen, I would say 50% of the mag is wakeskating. So preety neat sequences, WBM is definently getting more into wakeskating.. Also Danny Hampson is on the cover and Phillip Basino on the back, so good wakeskating in there.. Definently worth the wait..

EvanPark, Yes, Phillip signed with Rip Curl. It's always a rip curl ad in the back..

LFfool246, There is a reason why WBM has so much wakeskating now. I'll let Synergy go into details if he wishes, but I am not going to be starting rumors (even if I do know the story).

I haven't seen this months issue, but I can't wait to see it.

I think wakeskating is where the whole movement of waterskiing is headed. Wakeboarding is merely a neanderthal stage. Laughing

anyway, there's even an ad with thomas and vz...that's the first ad I've ever seen them give thomas, so that's cool.

if memory serves me correctly, he wasnt on DC's payroll. he got free shoes and some ad space, but i think thats about it. thats what i was told, at least. it could be wrong. who knows...

maybe we will see a vans wakeskate shoe in the future then. or atleast a dresdenish one that is very favorable to wakeskating.

Greg T, i think that is a great possibilty. i saw in a snowboard magazine this past winter that vans came out with some shoes they said were for snowskating so they are defenitely looking towards the less mainstream sports
