I'm about to buy a new board in a few weeks and I'd like some advice. I'll give you some stats about me and anyone who has ridden the boards feel free to leave an opinion of how you think they might work for me.
Right now, I like the Cassette 42" Bi-Level(Hampson) and the '05 Integrity Team. I have been riding a 43" Concave Cassette.
Stats:
5'10"
190lbs
I do a lot of wake to wake and lip tricks
I don't do a whole lot of rails
My boat throws a small wake so I usually edge hard into the wake _________________ www.armoredsquirrel.com |

i agree with the integ team. heres why. if you like wake to wake, this board has a channeled base and will hold nice going to the wake. It will also allow you to have this hold while riding finless, which is nice for lip tricks (depends on your preference on fins though). Many say the integs also have great pop which will be nice with your smaller wake. And of course the integs are built amazingly and will last a long time.
Hope that helps. |

Why should I get the Lemons over the Team? _________________ www.armoredsquirrel.com

Thank you Greg T! That is how you make a recommendation. Even if everything you said was not true, it is still better than just saying, "get brand x board, it rocks!" |

I'm sure they are both great boards, I'm just trying to do my best to get the deck that suits my needs. I doubt I'll have the chance to demo either one. I don't know of any dealers around this area, or many people who skate for that matter. They all borrow my crap. _________________ www.armoredsquirrel.com |

| Greg T, seemed all right to me. I was just saying that even if you were wrong, at least you gave good reasons why to buy that board. |

| who said gate? they are just a fad, I say buy a giant pringle, probably sour cream and onion and ride that. Or you could have some dignity and buy the integrity and get a board that is infact bad ass. |

IMO all this channel thing is BS... I have ridden an integ, flat decks, a bi, the new hype byerly, gate, etc.. fins/finless end I feel no frickin difference when I edge out...
Seriously, if it's a finless Bi Level (can't get less edgy than that, 100% flat bottom with screws poking out and no fins) or if it is an integ with the edges and fins, I can edge to the wake just as good...
The difference will be seen on some quick turns, you'll have less of a chance to slip out, but if you have balance and sink those flat edges in, you wont feel the difference.
Maybe that's just me tho lol
Also, you must consider the feel of wood... I rode my integ for months and loved it before I got my Bi, now I still ride the bi over the integ even if the bi is all delamed, waterloged and broken right now (broken by abuse from riding after a first delam ^^) I just like the wood feel so much more.
Now you were riding a wooden cassette, so you should try to test an integrity to see how composite feels.
If durability isn't an issue I'd say get a Bi, you just can't be disapointed... If not, get the best composite board that will outlast any other: a lemons _________________
