College Scholarships

Looks like I'm headed off to college next fall and was just wondering if anyone on here knew of any scholarships to apply to. I'm looking for whatever. Currently I am in the application process for a scholarship for being tall. Just seeing if anyone knew of some odd ones off hand.

Um... the best thing to do Slyder, for real is to talk to a financial aid adviser at the University you plan on attending... They can help you with all of the grants and scholarships and stuff... some of the deadlines are already passing, so I would do that as soon as possible... I ended up getting about 12.5K a year to go to Oklahoma, and that's how I did it... I had like 5-6 full-rides to other schools, only one I really considered was ASU, I was about smidge away from going there actually... but I was Sooner born and Sooner bred, and I'm glad that when I die I'll be Sooner Dead

hyperlite640, I live in San Antonio when I'm not here up here for school

I grew up in Oklahoma... and UT sucks, the only thing good about UT is that it is in Austin, man, you have no room to talk about choking in the National Championship... when was the last time Saxet made it to one? There is 50,000 students at UT and for the past 5 years, they haven't been able to find 11 guys to put on a field to beat us, and we only have half as many students, explain that to me?

-I'm just messing with ya, so you know, I don't want to start a flame war in here or anything... I'm sure that UT is good in their very own special sort of way. Wink

senorbueno, lol yah im a freshman in hs in suckybut indiana where its in the negatives all the time. Evil or Very Mad

But i was born in san antonio and go back evvery summer. my dad graduated from ut and my mom from utsa and my dad has a lake house on lake austin that i could stay in if i go to college there. and its in the main party cove, so id just have to take my rubber ducky and cooler with beer, float on down to countyline bbq at the end of the cove and then get a pull from someone to the end of the cove and eat my brisket and chill. Very Happy
