just wondering why people ripped on 484 when they were around but don't talk smack about gator boards now that they're doing wakeskates. hell, they're exactly the same thing. last summer, 484 was pressing boards for gator and the only difference was the graphics.

Thats a good point. I guess people have moved on from that shape and have come to understand it is the basic concave shape that alot of companys use. Cassette is two shapes ahead of that now, they dont even make one that shape anymore. But, I dont know, thats a good question.

hyperlite640, basically the copied cassettes old 3D design and instead of playing it low key they made it a point of pride that they were essentially stealing their design, wakeskating is small and acting like that is a shot in the foot politically, eventhough they appearantly obtained the molds legally

cassette is two shapes ahead of everyone else, but that flatdeck/concave mix thing (the 04 boards that no one could get and the 05 4tracks) isnt as good a board as the classic concave. the bilevel is the bomb, though.

NaRC-P rider, id have to disagree with you there. the 04 reed (while it lasted) was the best board ive ridden to date. and i have a bilevel. seriously, i mean i landed my only v-flip on that reed. but i traded it in for the new 4trak for free...and its an okay board. it sits so high up and is practically a flat deck...plus the whole drill it yourself deal is a little iffy for me...i mean i get they dont want it to be their responsibility, but it doesnt really make it a 4trak.
