| David Legler, referring to Brushfire fairytells? I like that CD a lot, but don't really follow Jack Johnson so I dunno if that was his first one, I guess I could google it...

yea I agree. Brushfire Fairytales was def. his best. then On and on, and In Between Dreams is his worst (but still a pretty good cd). Story I heard was that most of it was inspired by his Grandma's death and his son's birth, making it a more personal album, which could be why it isn't as good?? just a thought, i dont know too much about lyrics writing haha

I listened to it a few more times and gave it some more time though and I think I might like this one a bit more then his other ones now.

I thought his first cd was a bit more personal, for example Drink the Water being about his surfing accident. But I have only heard in between dreams once off of someone else's computer, so i don't know about it on a personal level. but the single sitting, wishing, waiting or whatever it's called i like quite a bit.

yeah I've listened to it all the way through about 7 or 8 times now, and it keeps getting better and better. unlike his first cd where it kicked ass right away.
