I just wanted to get some info on both of these, I've been searching around the forum and the internet and am going to be buying a new skate in the next two months. What I wanted to know is:
How heavy is the bi-level? For anyone who has ridden it, does the double deck make w2w ts shuvits, or w2w body varials awkward - I would think that it might be a fat grasp to get a hold on the board to get it back under you? Does the weight of the board make shuvits, or anything with spins more difficult (in the sense that you have to kick the board harder to swing the extra weight)?
I want to demo the boards, but a.) it's snowing outside, and b.) I can't afford one right now anyway. I just wanted to hear some input on the two boards (without the thread turning into a company/skate bashing). |

Yo sup Sinkoum, I haven't ridden the hyped integ but I do have a bi.
The bi is heavy almost double the weight of the integ. It is a good heavy. It is a fat grasp that you don't really notice. The weight makes the spins a little heavier; but b/c of the fulcrum effect you don't notice this compared to the popability in this business. _________________ dbanana wrote:

| The bi level has more pop, tracks better. Makes w2w lands a bit softer, its a little bit harder to spin 3 shuvs and big spins but still. I would suggest the bi level, oh by the way I own both boards so I can talk about the comparison. |

I've ridden both boards. I didn't like the flimsiness of the Integrity, it seemed way too light. If you want to be exact, the bi-level weighs 10 lbs.
PS: Personally I think it made my shuvits easier, the extra weight gives me a lot of momentum and leverage and stuff of that nature |

| Well, I rode it after I rode the bi-level, it just seemed flimsy I guess, I don't know. |

its not that bad for methods and indys and the side of the board grabs, but tail and nose grabs are a little tricky. you just have to either commit to grabbing the top board or both. bip flip tricks like varial flips and hard flips require a lot more effort, but in my opinion because of the crazy contour, you have more concave to flip the board
overall i would say the bi-level is the way to go. |
