Greg T, why that thing is 80lbs at the most, and trailers generate 100's of lbs of tounge weight

I can post some hopefully tommorow, unfortunately it wont look much different, I spent all daytoday workin gon it. . .I had to fix a pretty major setback I had with the drum sprocket combination,(this is what screwed me out of the boat show debut) I have however gotten the battery mounted, as well as finished up the engine mounting, I also ordered my speedometer today, full digital read out, I am looking at this as a standard feature, so basically Im down to two things, the controls, and the wiring, then it's ready to be taken apart and painted then re-assembled and taken down to TRIC for a Sticker job, I predict it will be done a week form next Wednesday, at least thats what I have marked in my calender.

good job kento. im still getting materials for mine and we scraped the dual crap because its a lil out my reach money wise.

but ill let ya know when its done and we can have that winch off....

im not trying to take away from kentos winch. i just didnt think it would be necassary to make another topic.

WaKeSk8er209, dont worry about it, but um mount the drum lower to reduce the leverage on the frame

kento911, its not that high. its just the way i drew it.

the frame we originaly planned to used, sucked and was way weak so im making that one. from 3/16" thick, 2" squared tubing

We are almost done with our new model of towing device. It will be released early May. Kento do you have news about your winch?
